'Tis a lonely post to stand...
Another great piece in the OpinionJournal, this one by Alan Bromley on a mission I know too well, being a conservative in a vapid land full of liberals. Mr. Browmley moved from the Connecticut burbs back into NY City, and having lived in New England for a couple of years I feel his pain. Granted we lived in New Hampshire, the "conservative" New England state, but it still was a secular, leave us alone kind of conservatism, a far cry from the conservatism of Ohio and Kentucky (and we have LOTS more electoral college votes!).
Mr. Bromley puts it best when he says: "Scratch a liberal, I say, and you often end up with a McCarthyite, bent on trying to destroy the character of every conservative, or even a mere questioner."
I agree completely, the Left is devoid of substantive ideas and seeks to personally villify and destroy those who dare question liberal orthodoxy. Yet they claim that Christians are the fanatics!
