This is lovely.

A fellow by the name of Ted Rall penned a cartoon, lampooning fallen soldier Pat Tillman using invectives such as "idiot" and "sap". The cartoon further suggested the absolutely inane idea that there is no connection between Afghanistan and al-Qaeda, despite Osama being there, terrorist training camps, al-Qaeda leadership, etc. Perhaps most insultingly, Rall suggested that Tillman was not interested in serving his country as much as he was interested in killing Arabs. If you want to view this hateful, ignorant diatribe, click here. It was originally on MSNBC.com until the Drudge Report pointed it out and they yanked it. Not it time to avoid being archived on the web though.

But wait, according to Yahoo! News, Rall had also heroically risked his life in Afdghanistan. I quote:

>>> "Rall, who risked his life in Afghanistan himself as a visiting cartoonist/writer after 9/11, told E&P: "The word 'hero' has been bandied about a lot to refer to anyone killed in Afghanistan or Iraq. But anyone who voluntarily goes to Afghanistan or Iraq [as a soldier] is fighting for an evil cause under an evil commander in chief." <<<

Risked his life?! As a visiting cartoonist?! Cartooning must be more hazardous than I thought. He is the true hero! He might have gotten a paper cut, or poked himself with a pencil or gotten chilly. What is fighting terrorists compared to that?

Hey Teddy! People like Pat Tillman make it possible for you to draw pictures in a free country for a living. You ought to be grovelling in graditude that the most danger you will ever be in is as a "visiting cartoonist".

The ugly face of the far Left ladies and gentlemen. You tell me who the radicals are.
