An important essay from Al Mohler

Dr. Mohler posted an important essay this morning in response to Newsweek magazine. Titled What the Bible Really Says About Sex . . . Really? Dr. Mohler takes on a couple of revisionists who have declared, in different ways, that everything we think we know about what the Bible says about human sexuality is wrong (to the point of suggesting that David and Jonathan were homosexual "partners"). This is Al Mohler at his best, standing up for the authority of the Bible and also pointing out the inherent errors of those who presume to rewrite it. I believe all efforts to reinterpret the Scriptures all come down to one simple goal: providing cover for sin. Whether it was those who tried to twist Scripture to support slavery or Joseph Smith perverting the Word to cover his own lecherous behavior, all of these men had the same purpose. Thanks once again to Dr. Mohler for being a clear and unflinching advocate for the truth.
