Egad. I got an advertisement in my email today for this little gem...THE ONE BIBLE THAT SHOWS HOW 'A LIGHT FROM ABOVE' SHAPED OUR NATION. There is so much that is tragically wrong with that, I am not sure where to start. I agree that the formation of America was done under God's sovereign rule. So was the creation of Liechtenstein and Zimbabwe.

Let's get it clear from the start that we Brits love you Americans. There is a 'special relationship' between our great nations. OK. BUT there are times when we in the UK just shake our heads in disbelief... this is one of those. As you rightly said "there is so much wrong with this..."
I think the appropriate phrase is 'It really makes you wanna toss your cookies'
