Alvin Reid on Bursting the (Christian) Bubble

I want to direct you to a very good post this morning from Alvin Reid: Burst the (Christian) Bubble. It is very easy to get into a "bubble", not just of "us (i.e. Christians)" versus "them (i.e. unbelievers) but also within our own subcultures within the church (i.e. "Reformed"). It is a fine line to walk between being separate and distinct from the world as a witness of a called out people and being separated from the world that we are called to take the Gospel too. We can neither be overly insulated from nor overly cozy with the world if we are to provide a faithful witness. Good stuff, take a look when you have a moment.
