We are happy to pay our pastor to help keep us in the faith through his ministry of Word and Sacrament.
We feel this job is far too important to leave to someone as a part time duty.
That we have some trained in Greek and Hebrew and all the disciplines of Holy Scripture and trained in theology is a great aid to the stewardship of the Word and the right handling of the gospel.
We are happy that he is not distracted by having to go out and make a living to survive.
