Setting aside, just for a second, his politics did you ever think you would see a black man standing on the steps of the Capitol taking the oath of office as President of the United States?
I agree in many ways. There was a time when I wouldn't have voted for a black man for any reason other than his skin color. I didn't vote for Barack Obama for a lot of reasons, none of them his skin color. It is an imporant step for our country.

I think it was a proud moment for our country. (And, I grew up in Alabama, so that's saying alot.)
