incrediblog!: Debate Help for Blogosphere Arminians

This was funny stuff. I wonder is Jon Modene got some of his material from this list? I especially like this one...

19. "Calvinists don't want to preach the Gospel too much, for fear that some people who are destined to go to hell might actually believe and wind up in heaven."

The really sad thing is that many of these "arguments" against Calvinism show up all the time, and pass for rational debate.

...A fool & his folly?...

...Pearls before swine...

I've seen (heard) a lot, and thought I had seen (heard) it all. Now (with Modene) I sure hope I have!

Grateful for grace,

Hey, stopped by to say thanks for the link, although I must say in my defense that Modene was off his nut a long, long time before my post. I cannot be blamed for that guy.

On the other hand, apparently now (just when you REALLY think you've seen everything) those arguments I posted are actually being used by Arminians (word-for-word: they apparently cut and paste them just like I suggested.) As the late Dr. John Gerstner wryly observed, "There's always room for deprovement." We never seem to hit bottom.
