On making disicples

Christoper Dryden emailed a link to this blog post, One Criterion, and I thought it was excellent. Our main calling is the making of disciples and therefore everything we do needs to be honestly assessed in the light of whether or not it is the "best" way of making disciples. I know not everyone would agree on what is best but at the very least we need to honestly discuss everything we do even if the discussion calls into question some of our most cherished traditions. I hope we continue to see more and more of these sorts of conversations. I know they make a lot of people nervous or even angry but they are critical conversations to have.
