Congregational? Elder rule? Consensus?

There is an interesting conversation going on over at the Jesus Creed, James Macdonald: Congregationalism from Satan?. The post is a response to the ridiculous and intentionally inflammatory post by James Macdonald titled Congregational Government Is From Satan. I am not really interested in interacting with someone who boasts of how large he has grown “his” church or how many churches he has planted or how much of an impact he has around the world or the unique vision that God is giving him. The conversation at the Jesus Creed is more interesting and less over the top because it has people asking some interesting questions and some good back and forth over some of our cherished assumptions regarding leadership in the church.
