Random thoughts on the Lord's Supper

The most important element of the Lord's Supper is what is being celebrated, not what is being consumed.

Christ didn't come to consecrate bread and wine, He came to seek and save that which was lost.

God's people can be in communion with Him even when bread and wine are not present but if God's people are not present, the bread and wine is of no worth at all.

Why do we argue about how often to "celebrate communion" when most of us are only in communion with the saints for a couple of hours a week?

Just the ramblings of a guy in pain and somewhat heavily medicated.
