An encouraging word from Becky Lynn Black

A very encouraging update from Becky Black. Her hope is found first and last in Christ, but she is also blessed to have available some wonderful medical care. Please be in prayer for Becky and her family, that God will be glorified and that through her suffering she can be a witness to those around her who are suffering similarly but without the hope and joy that can only be found in Christ. There are many who suffer from terminal disease, clinging to life in desperate fear of the grave because they do not know the One who can defeat death and fear of the grave.

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. (1Co 15:54-58)
