Wings thump Blackhawks

The Red Wings pounded the Chicago Blackhawks yesterday, lighting up French goalie Christobel Huet for five goals. They took a 3-1 series lead without two of the best players in the NHL, Pavel Datsyuk and Nik Lidstrom. Huet, the only French player in the NHL, was letting pucks into the net like German soldiers into Paris.

I especially liked this short-handed goal...

Now the demoralized Blackhawks have to come to Hockeytown for game five with Datsyuk and Lidstrom back. Say goodnight Gracie.

Go Sharks! Best record in the NHL! Oh, wait, we lost to Donald Duck. (Hangs head low)
