Ever listen to the White Horse Inn? Or someone from Westminster Seminary in California? There is a subset of the Reformed that uses the Anabaptists as punching bags on a regular occassion without ever really engaging in what they said. Simply saying "Anabaptist" is enough to end the conversation.
It's funny just how many traditional Reformed are anabaptists themselves. They won't accept somebody's baptism if they were baptized as an infant in the Roman Catholic church, and will "re-baptize" them (i.e. anabaptist). The main group of churches in the Reformation WOULD accept RC baptism and persecuted the anabaptists for NOT accepting it.

I would agree, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone speak negatively of the Anabaptists.
