All fired up!

Just got back from our first Wednesday at the new church we are attending, and first let me say what a very nice group of people they are. While the kids were in nursery/AWANA/Youth we went to an adult Bible study as a couple and the topics it covered were in my wheelhouse. It is a video lecture series from The Masters Seminary and the two topics is touched on were dispensationalism applied to the church and the idea of the necessity of an organized church with a formall church membership. We were whispering back and forth the whole time, madly scribbling notes (probably being a distraction). We spent the entire twenty minute drive just going on and on about what the professor in the video said. I have a ton of thoughts to write about it, but it is too late tonight.

There were several other women in the class, and the one across the table from us kept sneaking looks at Eva, trying to figure out her headcovering. I probably shouldn't take perverse pleasure in seeing other people get uncomfortable about it, but it still sort of made me chuckle inside. Hopefully it will encourage her to read up about 1 Cor 11.
