A quick thought on teaching

It is absolutely essential to have solid, Biblical teaching in the gathering of the church but it is not sufficient to merely have solid, Biblical teaching in the gathering of the church.

    You need the Word...proclaimed!

    God's Law (to convict and kill off the old sinner) and the gospel (with NO strings attached) to raise the dead man/woman to new life.

    Those things must be procalimed to the hearer.

    What God does in that proclamation is His business.
