Who needs dreaming?

We are definitely having a white Christmas. Over half a foot of snow dumped on us today and with more coming and temps well below zero, we should have lots of snow for Christmas. People are freaked out by the snow, this was an average snow fall for us when we lived up north, but down here it is a major event!

Alert Al Gore!

Global warming is alive and well, as demonstrated by the fresh two inches of snow in my yard and the downpour of snow coming down. We should have listened to Al when we had the chance! I blame Dick Cheney for the snow, it must be a nefarious plot by Halliburton to make us buy more of their oil!

First Snow!

Not much, and no one else got any, but because we sit on an especially cold ridgeline we got a light dusting of snow last night and a heavier dusting tonight. Not much, but it is a start and would have been enough to cancel school when we lived in Kentucky!
