Always glad to see God teaching and leading...Amen. Always glad to see God teaching and leading others along the same path I've been on. Unity is an essential of our faith, more essential than most distinctives we have divided over. I agree with every point you mention. Even the part about Calvinism where I disagree with you. :) I agree that that division has been blown way out of proportion. If Jesus didn't preach a sermon on it, it likely isn't as essential as our common belief in Unity.<br /><br />As for our view of Church. I used to picture church unity as every local group having some unity peace talks. But when Church isn't defined as a local gathering, it is easier to picture unity between all those who are truly Christ followers, regardless of where they spend their Sunday (or other) mornings.
