Everything that a believer does is to be in the world but not of it. On this basis what he does in the world is of eternal significance, and thus is also not of this world but of God's kingdom itself. There is no need for trying to wedge a dichotomy in certain behaviors or actions of believers so as to say something does not matter for eternity. Giving a cup of cold water in Jesus name may be a more powerful gospel than verbalizing the 4 laws or any other formulation of word's that describe the good news. It's not either-or. It's both- and. <br /><br />Poor Mitch may have a world view that says the country can only deal with one issue at a time and the economic issue is more pressing than the killing of millions of innocents.
