Examiner article: Thoughts on the Westboro Baptist decision

I jotted down some thoughts about the Supreme Court decision upholding the right of Westboro Baptist Church to protest at the funerals of American servicemen. It is an important question and one that transcends the specifics of the case. Do we want the state deciding what is or is not protected religious expression. I agree with your article, even though, on the other side of the world, the odor is unpleasant to say the least.

I agree with you, but it's still sad that the families of the soldiers have to see/hear this kind of hatred. That's why it made me cry to see this today!
